While having the recipes from a dozen+ Mc Dougall diet cookbooks at hand while contemplating a produce section makes this app a tremendous bargain, it still doesnt have native iPad support. The iPad interface is just the iPhone/iPod emulation mode, with very pixelized text at 2x magnification. The app would benefit from a native iPad mode, proofreading or search/replacing the errant markup characters in many recipes, and especially a shopping checklist. I suggest the developers look at the Whole Foods recipe app or Mark Bittmans How to Cook Everything apps for pointers on how to make a cookbook app really shine on iOS devices. I can do without the pretty pictures or ktchen timers, but clean looking text for browsing at home is a must.
