Its a cookbook, Its a cookbook!
If you want a cookbook, buy a cookbook. If you want an app, this is not an app.
This app does not allow you to sort your shopping list in any way. Once you formed your grocery list, there is no way to know what recipes they go to without then marking those recipes one week at a time as your current favorites.
How about printing your shopping list to share with a spouse? Nope, doesn’t exist. How about just syncing the list to their phone? Nope, no option to sync either.
Glitches like crazy!!!
Often when you click on a recipe it brings up a different recipe than what was selected.
I’ve also selected items to add to my shopping list and it never showed up on my shopping list. I went and checked this out three times. For example: Selected 3 cans of 8oz tomato sauce and then on the shopping list it just wasn’t there.
Recipes are incorrect. I made the Minestrone soup. At the end it says to add the carrots…Umm…what carrots. Double-check the list of ingredients. No carrots listed. This also happened to me on another recipe. Add the garlic…Ummm…really I’m not seeing garlic listed on the ingredients.
$5 for an electronic cookbook is a definite fail. Try just creating a Kindle e-cookbook because a $5 app should have some features. Very disappointed. The Forks over Knives app is also $5 and it offers much more features, that actually work! Amazing! I’ve also not run into all the errors in the recipes.
Just to prove that I’m not all bias, I would have to say I like all the bland recipes of McDougall better than Forks over Knives. If only I had an app that worked.
